Today’s reading is from James 2:5-6
"Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
"But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?"
Take a few moments to meditate on these verses.
Now, take some time to think about and answer these questions:
5. Whom has God chosen to be heirs of the kingdom? The poor.
6. How have the rich despised the poor? By oppressing them and bringing them to court.
