Three minutes. Two verses. No trick questions.

Apr 29, 2020

Today’s reading is from James 2:3-4

"And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:

"Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?

Take a few moments to meditate on these verses.

Now, take some time to think about and answer these questions:

3. What example does James give of treating people differently based on external observance? Giving a better seat to someone based on their clothing.

4. What does this behavior imply? Having evil thoughts.
