Three minutes. Two verses. No trick questions.

Apr 24, 2020

Today’s reading is from James 1:25-26

"But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

"If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

Take a few moments to meditate on these verses.

Now, take some time to think about and answer these questions:

25. What man shall be blessed? He who reads God's word (perfect law of liberty) and does it.

26. How is vain religion described?  When someone cannot control their words (tongue).
